Panic! at the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band situated out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is comprised of Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his youth family member, Spencer Smiths (drums), which includes their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To advertise their track, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) via his LiveJournal webpage. Impressed via the band, Wentz in my opinion met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band launched their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which might debut at #112 at the Billboard 200 album charts.
Featured in Spin journal as their band of the day in early October 2005, accomplishing #1 on the MySpace chart, and best online kpop stores continuously staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, might most effective help grow the bands status. An appearance on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, at the optimum of their tune video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band a good deal publicity.
To date, the bands 2005 debut album, A Fever you Cant Sweat Out has offered over 750,000 items. The band is lately headlining a North American summer time excursion with The Dresden Dolls and The Hush Sound, a band also signed to Decaydance.
